Color of the Year 2023 is “Viva Magenta” – Pantone

COLOR OF THE YEAR 2023 VIVA MAGENTA – Pantone named Viva Magenta, a shade of pink, as the color of the year for next year.

This year, 2022, the color of the year chosen by Pantone is “Very Peri” which belongs to the blue family. It contains a violet red undertone. A lot of people had the accent of blue during the New Year celebration.

The color of the year 2023 as chosen by Pantone is “Viva Magenta”. Based on art net, this color is a shade of pink and Pantone said that it characterizes optimistic celebration, unrestrained self-expression, and experimentation.

Pantone Color Institute Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman expressed that they drew more inspiration “from nature and what is real” amid the virtual worlds becoming part of the realities nowadays.

Viva Magenta is a shade of pink that descended from the red family. The red of cochineal, one of the special dyes and also one of the brighest and strongest has inspired this color of the year 2023.
