Looking back to the start of their relationship, according to a report in Pilipino Star Ngayon of showbiz reporter Aster Amoyo, initially the grandparents of the former ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ host did not approved that their granddaughter will get married to the action star.
Mariel Rodriguez Padilla grew up under the care of her maternal grandparents after her parents divorced and she has considered them like her own parents.
Based on the report of Amoyo, the grandparents of former Kapamilya host admitted that initially they did not want her to end up with Robin.
Despite of that initial reaction from the people who are very close to the heart of Maria Isabella’s mother, Binoy showed how he really loves the woman of his life.
Because of the fact that the grandparents of Mariel saw the love of Robin for their granddaughter when they all finally met, the initial disapproval was already gone.
