Based on a report, the casts and the crew of the “escape film” as described by Paul Soriano had a locked-in shoot in the island of Siargao for almost six weeks. They lived an island life for more than a month for the movie.

However, there are rumors that Paul had a romantic affair with Erich during the shoot for the movie. The director is married to singer-actress Toni Gonzaga and they already have a one-year-old son named Severiano Elliot.

He even shared that he brought Toni and Seve to ‘Siargao’ before the taping started.

Based on a recent report in Inquirer.Net, speaking to the source, Paul Soriano expressed that there is “no truth” to the rumors. According to him, it is one of the things that happens when the crew and the casts of a movie have a locked-in shoot.

“I enjoy working closely with actors… But then again, I don’t get linked with my male actors, right (laughs),” he said.

Based on the report, Direk Paul Soriano revealed that he had lunch and dinner with Jericho for several times and as well as with Erich while the script is being developed so that’s why the rumors crossed the surface.

“That’s my process. I like to pick the brains of my actors in creating their characters,” the filmmaker said.

According to Paul, it is “unfair” on the part of Erich as she went to Siargao to work. With regards to his wife Toni Gonzaga, he expressed that their trust to each other is “solid” and they never questioned each other.
