Julia Buencamino reportedly took her own life. Based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), during her appearance on Magandang Buhay, the late young actress’ mom Shamaine Buencamino revealed that her daughter was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder or BPD.

According to the veteran actress, they did not know that she was going through something as she was not able to see her diary due to the “written rule” inside their house that they should not look at each other’s personal stuff.

“Kung tiningnan ko lang, nakita ko, nalaman ko na mayroon siyang ini-inda, mayroon siyang sakit mula noong 12 siya,” she said.

Based on the report, Shamaine Buencamino revealed that her initial reaction right after knowing that her daughter is gone is that she talked to her. According to her, what she felt was that her world became so silent and she cannot hear anything.

“Alam mo ‘yung eksena kapag may namamatay sa family sa pelikula sa TV, hindi ba iyak ka kaagad? Hindi ganoon,” she expressed.

Shamaine revealed that what she initially did is talk to Julia like she is really there and told her to go with God. The mother also told her daughter that she loves her.

Based on the report, Nonie and Shamaine Buencamino gained their strength from going to church everyday amidst those very trying moments in their lives. The grieving mother admitted that she felt like she does not want to wake up anymore.

According to her, they would usually go to church and that is their strength for the entire day.
