Vice Ganda Grieves Deeply Saddened by Franco Hernandez’s Sudden Passing
VICE GANDA – Comedian and It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda did not come to the reception of the wedding of co-host Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff.
The sudden passing of Hashtags member Franco Hernandez has left many people in great sadness and grief. Aside from his family, girlfriend, and friends, some people who were also deeply saddened by the passing of Franco is his Showtime family.
Franco is a member of the Hashtags, a male dance group launched by ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime. The 26-year-old Hashtags member is dubbed as the ‘Hataw Heartthrob’.
Recently, an unfortunate incident happened. Franco Hernandez died of drowning while they were in the middle of North Lamidan in Davao Occidental. He was with his girlfriend Janica Nam Floresca and Hashtags Tom Doromal.
A strong wave reportedly hit their motorboat causing them to fall into the water. Franco was rushed to the nearest clinic but he was declared dead on arrival based on a report.
When the incident happened, the It’s Showtime hosts, except for Billy Crawford, Coleen Garcia, and Amy Perez, were in New Zealand to attend the wedding of their co-host Anne Curtis with long-time boyfriend Erwan Heussaff.
A moment of silence was offered for Franco in the midst of the event.
Based on a recent report in Pep, a tribute to Franco Hernandez was recently held in It’s Showtime. The studio was filled with sadness as the hosts and the Hashtags recall their moments with the late Hashtags member.
According to the report, Vice Ganda expressed that Franco has gone home to his real home. He expressed that he will miss his “coño” and rich son who is one of his favorite for being sweet.
The comedian-tv host also shared that Franco is one of the five members of Hashtags who usually stay in his dressing room everyday.
Based on the report, Vice Ganda did not attend the reception of the wedding of Anne Curtis and Erwan Huessaff due to sadness over the passing of Franco Hernandez. He apologized to his co-host for not attending the wedding reception.
The comedian dedicated his recent PMPC Star Awards for TV 2017 award to the last Hashtags member. Currently, the wake of Franco is held at Arling Memorial Chapel and he is set to be cremated on Friday.
