Philippines’ representative Laura Lehmann enters the Top 40 in Miss World 2017
The Philippines’ bet for Miss World 2017, Laura Lehmann, is getting nearer to the crown as the the Top 40 for the international beauty pageant was announced and she is included.
The pageant night which happens on November 18 at Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China, already revealed who is among the 120 beautiful candidates from different countries has the closer chance for the crown.
According to a report of The Philippine Star, the former TV host turned beauty queen got a spot in the Top 40 as she was also included in the Top 5 in “Beauty With A Purpose”.
It can be recalled that Laura Lehmann announced on her Instagram account that she was able to enter the Top 20 semi-finalist for the said category, said in a previous report.
She supports and advocates for the needs of mothers as well as for their babies in the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center’s Maternity Ward.
During the ‘Head to Head Challenge’, she was included in Group 17 wherein she answered questions with candidates from Myanmar, Thailand, Lesotho, Serbia and Turkey.
It was said in a previous report, that netizens agreed in one view regarding the said challenge, that Laura nailed that round.
The experience of the 24-year old beauty queen in hosting gave an edge to her in communicating and expressing her views regarding various matters being discussed in the society nowadays.
True enough to the predictions of the majority, the Filipina beauty queen was hailed as the winner from their group during the said challenge.
These factors landed her a safe spot in the Miss World 2017 Top 40, a few more steps away to the crown, according to a report.
