Top 12 Senatorial Candidates in Pulse Asia Survey Results
TOP 12 SENATORIAL CANDIDATES – Here is a list of the top 12 candidates in the result of the latest survey conducted by Pulse Asia.
The May 2022 Elections are fast approaching and there will be a poll for senators. According to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), there are 64 candidates running for a seat in the Senate. However, one (1) recently withdrew his bid.
Prior to the Elections 2022, surveys are being held by several entities. One of the polling bodies in the Philippines and also one of the most popular in the field is Pulse Asia. The latest survey that Pulse Asia did was conducted from March 17 to 21 and here are the Top 12 senatorial candidates as per the result:
1. Raffy Tulfo
Veteran broadcaster Raffy Tulfo topped the list of the senatorial candidates with a voters’ preference of 65.6%.

2. Loren Legarda
The next in line to Tulfo is former Senator Loren Legard. The survey yielded a total percentage of 58.3 in voters’ preference for the woman who is vying for a Senate comeback.

3. Alan Peter Cayetano
The Pulse Asia survey yielded a voters’ preference of 56.4% for Alan Peter Cayetano. In the previous election, he ran for vice president but lost to Vice Pres. Leni Robredo.

4. Chiz Escudero
Another senator who is vying for a Senate comeback is Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero. He got a voters’ preference of 54.4%.

5. Mark Villar
Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sec. Mark Villar, the son of business tycoon and former Sen. Manny Villar and incumbent Sen. Cynthia Villar, secured the 5th spot in the survey with a 52.4% voters’ percentage.

6. Migz Zubiri
Incumbent Sen. Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri also made it to the Top 12 senatorial candidates in the result of the Pulse Asia survey. He has a voter’s preference of 50.1%.

7. Joel Villanueva
Villanueva has a voters’ preference of 43.9% as per the latest survey conducted by Pulse Asia.

8.5 Robin Padilla
The May 2022 Elections is composed of people from different walks of life and some of them are actors – like action star Robin Padilla. Despite being a neophyte in the senatorial race, he garnered a voters’ preference of 42.5%.

8.5. Jojo Binay
Former Vice Pres. Jejomar “Jojo” Binay is eyeing for a comeback in politics as a senator. He and Padilla share the same voters’ preference result of 42.5%.

9. Jinggoy Estrada
Former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada is also eyeing a Senate comeback. The survey yielded a 36.5% voters’ preference for the former lawmaker.

10. JV Ejercito
Another son of former Pres. Joseph “Erap” Estrada, JV Ejercito, also made it to the top 12 of the Pulse Asia survey results. He has a voters’ preference of 35.9%.
