She opened a school in South Africa. The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (OWLAG) opened in 2007. The famous personality expressed her desire to open a branch in the US.

“This will be the satellite school, and then I will do others. It’s taken me a while to get it right, it took me about ten years to actually get it right. I’m thinking about it,” she shared.
