Countless hearts were left saddened and shocked by the sudden death of Japanese former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. He has served as the national leader of Japan twice and had an uninterrupted run in his second term. He only had to step down in his second term because of recurring health concerns.
However, yesterday marked the death of Japan’s former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. He was shot while he was delivering a speech in Nara a few days before the election. Here are some photos showing the moments leading the former national leader to his death:
Abe arrived at Nara for a public event in relation to the upcoming election. Based on Japan Moments, his arrival at the venue was around 11:30 in the morning local time.

The suspect of the incident was spotted a few steps behind the former Prime Minister when he was getting up the stage to give a speech.

The people listened to Abe while the former Prime Minister was giving a speech. The suspect was just standing behind before lodging his motive.

Around a minute while Japan’s former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was giving a speech, the suspect came near him and two (2) loud sounds were heard in the area.

After a few seconds, the former Prime Minister of Japan fell to the ground. He collapsed and bled.
Immediate medical attention was provided to the Japanese former Prime Minister. A cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was conducted on him.

There was chaos in the area and the security tried to control the surroundings while the former Prime Minister is being revived.

The authorities caught the suspect who fired at the event and shot the former Prime Minister. He used a homemade weapon in his motive.

Japanese former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was rushed to the hospital. Reports stated that he had no vital signs already then.

Based on the post, a helicopter was used in transporting the former Prime Minister to the hospital and he was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

At 05:03 p.m. local time, Japan’s former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was declared dead by his doctors after four (4) hours of trying to save the former national leader. He obtained wounds in his heart and neck.
