Over the years, the celebration of Mother’s Day around the world has evolved. In Mexico, for example, mothers are being serenaded mariachi singers with the song “Las Mañanitas” and they were given food and flowers.

Hindus have a ten-day festival in October honoring their Divine Mother, Durga while the Westernized version is being celebrated every month of May.
