At 15, Elton formed a band and it was called Bluesology. They had regular gigs and even opened for several big American artists that were touring through Europe, including Patti LaBelle, Major Lance, and the Isley Brothers. Eventually, Elton’s band became the supporting band for blues singer Long John Baldry.
