Freddie Mercury: Did you know Queen’s vocalist was born in Tanzania?
Freddie’s father worked in the High Court as a cashier for the British government. Bomi Bulzara married his wife Jer in India and brought her back to Zanzibar. Freddie had a younger sister named Karishma.
He studied at the Zanzibar Missionary School but he reached the eight years old, his parents decided to send him to St. Peter’s Church of England school in Panchgani, India. At that young age, Freddie already discovered his love for music and started his band with friends called The Hectics.
