Despite its beauty, it can cause danger to other sea creatures through its fist. The Odontodactylus scyllarus or the peacock mantis shrimps use two appendages called dactyl clubs to pummel prey. Their fists can spring forth from their bodies at 50 mph, accelerating quicker than a .22-caliber bullet and this “punch” delivers 160 pounds of force to their opponents.
