Slurpee: Fun Facts about the cool treat of 7-Eleven you might not know yet

7-Eleven released a vinyl record with two songs written just for this drink in 1970. The catchy and danceable tune was titled “Dance the Slurp”. It was sampled by DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist for their 1999 album “Brainfreeze”.

The other side of the vinyl was a short comedy skit. Forty five (45) vinyl records were given away with purchases and copies are being sold on eBay for $50.
