Taiwan As ‘Face Mask Capital Of Asia’: How It Helped During Pandemic?

When H1N1 and SARS outbreak hit Asia, this country has the least number of deaths among its neighboring countries. Only 47 Taiwanese died due to H1N1 and SARS has recorded 72 deaths, which are much lower than in other Asian countries. This was attributed to the popularity of wearing face masks to the Taiwanese.
