On a trip to Padua, Italy, Percy encountered a poison garden but it was built by Medicis with the intention to find ways to kill their enemies. “The gate had a skull and crossbones on them and I loved the idea,” she shared. The Medicis, as rumors said, used poison to kill their enemies and they became powerful between the 15th and 18th centuries in Italy.
