The founders of Guinness World Records, twins Norris and Ross McWhirter, named American Robert Wadlow as the tallest man ever.

The American man stood 8 feet and 11.1 inches tall. He was born to two (2) regular-sized parents on February 22, 1918. He weighed 8.7 pounds upon birth. However, his growth was very rapid.
