Bungee Jumping: Where & How This Nerve-Racking Sport Started

According to the legend, a woman who was mistreated by her husband kept on attempting to run away but she got caught all the time. She came up with a plan and climbed up the tallest banyan tree on the island when she tried to run away.

However, she tied her ankle with a vine. When her husband followed her, she jumped but because of the vine, she did not fall. The woman taunted her husband saying that he was a coward for not jumping without the vine. So, he jumped and faced his death.
