Bingham Canyon Mine, Utah

Locals call this Kennecott Copper Mine and it is located in the Oquirrh Mountains outside South Lake City. It is tagged as the most productive copper mine in history that covers nearly 2,000 acres of land. It measures 2.5 miles wide and has a depth of .75 miles.
