Himba women do not take a bath. In order to maintain their hygiene, they take a smoke bath. They would just put smoldering charcoal into a little bowl of herbs. It is usually with the leaves and little branches of Commiphora trees. They will wait for the smoke to ascend and they will bend over until they perspire.
