N95: Meaning of mask’s name that’s widely used amid COVID-19 pandemic

One factor in pointing out the difference between N95 masks and surgical masks is who is doing the testing and approval. Surgical masks are under the FDA’s testing and approval while NIOSH does this to the other type.
