Noodles Unearthed In China Over 4,000 Years Old Suggests Asian Origin

Patrick McGovern, an archeologist at the University of Pennsylvania’s Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Philadelphia, said that if the estimated age of noodles is correct, then this is considered a very important finding. He also said that noodles are evidence of a “fairly high level of food processing and culinary sophistication.”
