Noodles Unearthed In China Over 4,000 Years Old Suggests Asian Origin

Scientists who studied this archeological piece said that noodles were made of two kinds of millet – broomcorn millet and foxtail millet. It is made of a grain indigenous to China and widely cultivated there 7,000 years ago. On the other hand, modern noodles that are made from North American and European countries are composed of wheat.
