Seagram Murals of Mark Rothko: The Intriguing Story Behind These Artworks

After years of negotiating, in 1969, Rothko has finally donated nine of his murals to the Tate Gallery in London. The paintings have traveled to different art galleries until they were placed at the Tate Modern in London.
