Titanic Survivors: Who survived & what happened after the tragic accident

She was a silent film actress who was on vacation with her mother. Dorothy boarded Lifeboat 7 and later on starred in the first film about the disaster that was titled Saved from the Titanic, based on the article in Reader’s Digest.

However, just like other Titanic survivors, the accident haunted Dorothy and she decided to leave the movie industry and moved to Europe. Aside from the sinking of the ship, she also survived being imprisoned in a concentration camp during World War II. A possible heart attack caused her death in 1946 and she was 56 years old.
