Avatar Movie: Noteworthy Facts About James Cameron’s Sci-Fi Film

The cig@rettes used by the character of Dr. Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver) were all CGI as well. James Cameron explained in the DVD Documentary that Weaver had to pantomime smoking. The director chose to do this so that Weaver didn’t have to actually have a lit cig@rette in her hand.
