Roller Coaster Origin: How This Popular Ride In Amusement Parks Was Created

The term “roller coaster”, believed by some historians, was from the device which rolled as it coasted. Some records also traced the term from Stephen E. Jackson and Byron B. Floyd. They were two coaster inventors from Haverhill, Massachusetts, who worked in the early 1880s.
