Titanic Survivors: Who survived & what happened after the tragic accident

Margaret “Molly” Brown

She was a “new money” socialite and philanthropist who was later on known as “the Unsinkable Molly Brown.” Molly was one of those who got into Lifeboat 6.

In the 1997 Titanic movie, her kindness was depicted and her plea to return to the ship to look for other survivors. She continued her philanthropy and she even ran for Congress and assisted with relief efforts in France during World War I.

With this, she earned the French Legion of Honor. Then, she ventured into acting before dying in 1932. She was 65 years old.
