Titanic Survivors: Who survived & what happened after the tragic accident

Eva was seven years old when she boarded the Titanic with her family. In 1996, she died at the age of 91 and she was the last remaining survivor with memories of the accident.

Eva had several televised interviews. She became a magistrate and received the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE).

Her mother penned a letter that she intended to mail to her own mother. Eva scrawled at the end of the letter and a scene in the 1997 movie Titanic, her father gave her mother his coat, which had in its pocket the said letter.

This went up for auction in 2014. Eva’s words were “Heaps of love and kisses to all from Eva.”
