INSULIN TREATMENT FOR DIABETES

In 1921, a decade after insulin was discovered, Canadian doctor Frederick Banting and his assistant, Charles Best in JJR Macleod’s lab at the University of Toronto found a way that would be helpful for diabetic patients. They have developed a way to isolate insulin and inject it into animals to regulate their blood sugar.
