Here are the Titanic survivors and these were their lives after the tragic accident that has gone down in history.

Charles Lightoller

He was the most senior crewman to survive the sinking and was considered a hero. Charles stayed on board until the end as a Second Officer, he was in-charged of lowering the lifeboats.

He was sucked down by the ship but was able to climb onto an overturned lifeboat. After this accident, he continued his heroism by rescuing stranded British soldiers on the beaches of Dunkirk, France, during World War II. Charles died at the age of 78 in 1952.
