Noodles Unearthed In China Over 4,000 Years Old Suggests Asian Origin
Houyuan Lu said that wheat was not widely cultivated in China until the Tang Dynasty (A.D. 618 to 907) although evidence suggests it was present in the country 4,000 years ago. The scientist also said that until now, millet is being used to make noodles in poor, rural areas of northwestern China. With this, the noodles unearthed in China suggested that the famous food originated in Asia.
